 Banaras and Kashi story

Once upon a time Mahadev and Parvati were roaming around a place. They stopped at Kalpavriksha. Mahadev told Parvati about the tree that whoever asks anything from this tree, it gives it. Parvati could not stop herself and she wished for a daughter from the tree and named that daughter Kashi.

This one could write her destiny only by being patient, due to this Mahadev sent his daughter to the sage, she asked for something that scared everyone. She asked that her husband should

 have a husband like Mahadev. Kashi had asked for this; such a son was bound to be born. She was born in the house of King Aarush. The king accepted the son as a blessing of Mahadev. He was named Banar.

Here Kashi was playing with her friends. At that time a demon came. He was kidnapping Kashi and was killed. The king thought that if the son is born due to Mahadev's blessings, then he will have to go to Mahadev for darshan. He did not know that this son is going to be Kashi's husband. When the king went to Mahadev, he requested Mahadev to raise his son. As soon as the son grows up, he should first marry Kashi.

As soon as the king's son grew up, he first married Kashi, then in anger he first threw Mahadev out of the Kalash, then he himself became the husband of the Kalash, then Brahma and Vishnu came to know about this through Narada, then the king's son Vishnu reached Lakh / then he himself became the creator and the nurturer

Then Narada told the whole thing to Mahadev and Mata Parvati, then Mahadev told Narada Muni in a gesture that how can the king's son be killed who looks like Mahadev / Narada Muni went to the village and was enjoying nature



 with Mahadev and Mata Parvati / The king's son had thrown him out of the Kailash  Narada Muni went to the king's son Kaam, then the king's son said that I have become the creator and the nurturer

Narad very wisely said that you have become the lord of 3 worlds but Mahadev has not given you 3 eyes /

The king's son asks Narad Muni that, how can I get these 3 eyes? Then Narad Muni says that for that you will have to do penance. And he says that for that another form of Mahadev appears in front of you, he asks him 3 questions. And he tells the king's son that you will have to fill the bowl and you will have to bathe in it. When the king's son understands all this, he goes to do penance and everything that Narad Muni was telling him happens in front of him. Mahadev changes his form and comes in front of the king who looks like Mahadev. The king's son uses his powers to fill the bowl. Still he does not fill the bowl, the king's son understands Mahadev's trick and then Mahadev and the king's son fight and the king's son is killed.

Mahadev came in front of his mother Parvati and his daughter and said that I have killed my daughter's husband. Her daughter started crying and while crying she said to Mahadev that if my dead husband is not here, then kill me too. Mahadev flew the head of the king's son in the sky in front of his daughter and told his


 daughter that wherever this head falls, it will be named Banaras. It was named Banaras after the name of the king's son. You will also be known by the name Kashi. Mahadev said that whoever prays for death here will get salvation. Like today we know Kashi and Banaras. This is a famous love story.
